What is StrongPro?

StrongPro is a patient communications tool with functionalities for the pharmacy including:

    • Pharmacists can communicate with patients who are on PPI medications and check on them if they are still experiencing symptoms even after taking their PPI meds. This opens up a new channel for pharmacists to communicate with their patients and help the patients.

How to use StrongPro? How often can I message my patients?

  • You can use StrongPro to increase awareness of pharmacy professional services such as medication review, blood pressure monitoring, Webster packing, vaccination services, and more 
  • StrongPro only allows you to message your patients once a week to avoid spamming your patients

Sending messages in StrongPro?

Sending StrongPro messages using Email

  • Email is FREE so you can create longer email content
  • The subject title is now optional but it is strongly recommended to put it in
  • Patients can simply click the “unsubscribe link” to opt-out

Sending StrongPro messages using SMS
    • SMS will cost $0.12 per 160 characters (including the pharmacy name and the automated opt-out sentence: “Reply STOP to opt out”- 21 characters)
      • For example, the sentence below should be within 160 characters after taking into account the automated sentence (Reply STOP to opt out) and the pharmacy name.
        •  “Are you on acid reflux medications but still getting symptoms? Visit {Pharmacy Name} for support”
    • SMS with emojis will cost $0.12 per 70 characters when an emoji is added to the SMS as shown below: 
    • Spaces included in the characters
    • Patients can reply “STOP” to opt-out
    • StrongPro, includes a calculator that shows the total SMS cost before you send out the messages
