Why does ODT patient have an Error status and the system won't let me claim for that patient?

An Error status on a claim indicates that some essential information is missing, preventing the claim from being processed. To resolve this, you need to update the patient's details.



Steps to Resolve a Claim Error

  1. Navigate to the patient's profile.

  2. Select the Pencil icon next to the patient's details to edit their information.

  3. Update the patient's Medicare or DVA number if it is incorrect or missing.

  4. Check the Consented box to consent the patient for claiming.

  5. Save changes using your credentials.

After you save the updated information, the claim should be processed successfully.
