In-pharmacy and takeaway doses are only reported in the Oral ODT claims section if certain criteria are met.
For in-pharmacy and takeaway doses to be calculated correctly for claims:
- The prescription needs to be marked as a PBS-Script
- The script dates must align with the supplied doses
- The doses need to be recorded within StrongER
Split, additional, double and triple doses account for 1 day in the claims section per the PPA guidelines.
To mark a script as PBS
- Navigate to the patients' profile
- View the prescription number on the calendar for the month to be submitted in the PPA claim
- If the script is not the current active prescription, toggle on Show History
- Select the script:
- If the script is marked PBS no further action is required
- If the script is marked as Non-PBS, select the pencil edit icon next to the medication name, the Edit Prescription page will display. Select PBS Script, enter in an Edit Note above the user credential field, for why the script was changed, enter the user credentials and select Save. The script will now be marked as PBS
- If the script is marked PBS no further action is required
