How do I run an application update when prompted?

This article runs through the process of running an application update when prompted. This overview guides you through the steps, ensuring a smooth experience in keeping your software on the latest version of StrongER

If a new update is available for Strong ER and/or Strong Integration, a message will display on the Login screen, with a prompt to run the program update.

If this message displays in Strong ER, follow the below steps to run the program update.

Running the Update

1. Click on Update now at the program update prompt
2. This will automatically close Strong ER and/or Strong Integration
3. The Setup - Strong ER Wizard will display
   
   
4. Work through the steps of the wizard - click Next
5. Click Update 
6. Finally click Finish
   
   
   
7. After running the program update, Strong ER can be opened and will be running the new version
8. A prompt for a Database Update may also display (if a database update is required)
9. Follow the prompts to complete the Database Update
