[Partial Supplies](https://help.strongroom.ai/knowledge-base-stronger/electronic-controlled-drug-register-ecdr?hsLang=en#partial-supplies) # How do I flag a Prescription as a Partial Supply? ## A prescription can be flagged as a Partial Supply if the entire prescribed quantity is not being supplied to the patient immediately or if you need to supply different brands of the same medication to the patient. 1. Click on the **Prescriptions** button at the top of the application 2. In **Supply Quantity**, change the quantity to what is being supplied today 4. Ensure the checkbox next to the patient name is ticked 5. Click **Add** or **Continue** in the bottom right of the screen 6. Enter your credentials and click **Complete ![](https://help.strongroom.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Nov-27-2023-11-24-40-5997-PM.png?width=661&height=1041&name=image-png-Nov-27-2023-11-24-40-5997-PM.png)** A list of the **Partial Supplies** can be viewed from **Partial** at the top of the application.    **Marking a Manual Prescription as a Partial Supply** A manual prescription supply can also be marked as a partial supply.  1. Click on the **Drug Register** button on the left-hand menu 2. In **Prescribed Quantity**, enter in the full amount prescribed. 4. In **Supply Quantity**, change the quantity to what is being supplied today 5. Click **Supply** 6.
