Incoming Prescriptions (Balance Check Enabled)

How do I manage Incoming Prescriptions with Balance Check enabled?

  1. aClick on the Prescriptions page

  2. The incoming S8 prescriptions from your dispensing software will display
  3. Select the checkbox against the Patient and Drug entry to be entered into the Drug Register - multiple prescriptions can be selected (excluding Western Australia)
  4. Click Continue
  5. The Balance Check pop-up will display
  6. Click on the relevant Acknowledgement

    Select this option if Balance After Transaction is Correct
    Select this option if Balance After Transaction is Incorrect
    Select this option to Skip. No Balance will be Recorded

  7. Once the Acknowledgement has been selected, enter Password and click Confirm
     

If 'Balance is Incorrect' is selected, the following warning will display. It is recommended that the Pharmacist selects Cancel and investigates the discrepancy before entering the transaction into the Drug Register.
