Destruction register entries can be reversed if an error was made in when entering the product
- Navigate to Stock Management on the left side bar, and select Destruction Register
- Double-click on the entry that needs to be reversed and the Destruction Details popup will display (Both Pending and Destroyed entries may be reversed)
- Add a reason for the reversal of the entry in the Notes field
- Two users with appropriate permissions need to enter their credentials and then select Reverse
- Once the entry has been reversed, it will be highlighted in red
If the reason for destruction was Damaged/Expired then the quantity of the reversed entry will be added back into the count for that item i.e. if the expected count for the above entry was 100 tablets, after reversing the destruction register entry of 20 tablets, the expected count would be 120.
Reversing an entry when the reason for destruction is Returned from Patient/Doctor will not affect the expected count of a medication.
