How do I supply different brands for the same prescription?

To supply different brands from the same prescription, we can use the partial supply feature. This function can be used when a medication is out of stock, or has been discontinued, etc.

1. Follow the directions for the article How do I manage Partial Supplies?
2. Click on the Partial page at the top of the application
3. Click Supply next to the script that you would like to supply
4. The Support Partial pop up will appear
   
   
5. Next to the Product in the Supply Partial window, select the pencil edit icon
6. Choose the alternative brand of the same medication you would like to supply to the patient or search for the product in the drop-down product menu, then select Confirm
   
   
7. Enter in the Supply Quantity that you would like to supply to the patient (this may be the full remaining quantity or only part of the remaining quantity)
   
   
8. Click Supply, then input your username and password and click Complete
