How do I supply an Additional or Replacement OTP dose?

If a patient requires an additional/replacement dose of OTP medication and it has been authorised by the prescriber, it can be recorded as an additional dose.

  1. Navigate to the patient profile screen using the "Patient Search" box in the top left-hand corner of StrongER by searching for the patients name. Then select the patients profile.

  2. On the dosing calendar, select the day or days that you need to supply an additional/replacement dose. The selected day/s will be highlighted in white.

  3. Select "Supply" on the right-hand side of the screen, the supply window will display. A warning will show in the supply window: "Dose has already been supplied for dd/mm/yyyy".

  4. In the supply pop-up confirm the dose of medication and if a different dose is required, expand the dose by clicking on it to alter the dose of the additional/replacement dose/s.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. In the supply notes of the supply pop-up, enter in your reason for supplying an additional dose and acknowledge any warnings.

  7. Enter your username and password, and then click Supply.
  8. Once the additional/replacement doses have been supplied, there will be a red circle with a white exclamation mark in the dosage

If you scroll down, the patient's profile on the "Opioid Replacement" Tab, the supplied doses will be viewable. For the days that you have supplied an additional/replacement dose, there will be multiple doses recorded for the same "Taken Date"

Ensure to follow your state/territory guidelines for supplying additional/replacement doses.
