How do I reverse a Drug Register entry?

You can reverse entries in StrongER, but you cannot delete an entry. Reversed Drug Register entries are highlighted in red. Drug Register entries can only be reversed one at a time.

You can reverse a Drug Register entry from the "Drug Register" page accessed from the left-side menu.

  1. Select the Drug Register page from the sidebar.

  2. Find the entry that you want to reverse. You can use the "Product" drop-down menu to filter for the specific medication and/or use the date range to narrow down the results to when the entry was made in StrongER. Note: The default date range for the "Drug Register" is the last month, ensure to make sure you select the correct date range to be able to see the entry you want to reverse.
  3. Once you have identified the entry you want to reverse, double-click on the entry. A pop-up window will display with the "Entry Details", ensure this is the correct entry to reverse as you cannot undo a reversal.

  4. Select "Reverse Supply", a "Confirm Reversal" window will display. Enter a reason for the reversal in the notes field and then input your username and password to confirm the reversal.

  5. Once an entry is reversed the entry will be highlighted in red denoting the reversed status of the entry. The reversal, will be another entry in the drug register, which is recorded on the day and time the reversal was made.

The reversal will affect the balance of the medication you are doing the reversal for.

  • If you have reversed a prescription entry, the stock will be added back into your Expected Count of the medication.
  • If you have reversed an invoice entry, the stock will be taken off your Expected Count of the medication.
