How do I record a missed ODT dose?

Missed doses are marked automatically, but if a dose was not recorded on the day it was supplied, it can be retroactively recorded.

Missed Doses

If a patient does not attend for dosing on a day when they have a valid Oral Opioid Dependence Treatment (ODT) prescription in StrongER, the missed dose will be automatically logged as such.

In the following example, the patient did not present for dosing on the 6th of February, despite having a valid prescription for that day. The next day, the 7th of February, the unsupplied dose from the 6th of February then is automatically marked as a Missed Dose. If a dose was supplied on the day/s marked as a Missed Dose, see below for how to record the supply retroactively.

Recording an ODT Supply Retroactively

If a dose is showing up as missed, however, a dose was given for that day/s, the dose can be recorded retroactively.

  1. Navigate to the patients' profile, using Patient Search or Patient Alerts
  2. Select the day/s on the calendar displaying "Missed Dose" to be recorded retroactively
  3. Select Supply. The Supply window will then display, with the warning "Dispensing a dose on a previous date"
  4. Review the doses to be supplied, if they are accurate, select Continue
  5. The approval window will then display, select Acknowledge to accept the warning message
  6. Enter a Supply Note for why the dose is being recorded retroactively, input your credentials and select Supply
  7. The Missed Dose/s will now display as being supplied
