In StrongER by default, we do not separate different pack sizes of the same **strength** and **brand** of the same product such as a 10 and 20 pack of oxycodone 5mg. This is because combing the 2 pack sizes simplifies managing the product in the drug register. For example, this means it does not matter which pack size you select in dispense, the quantity comes off the one product. This means that the stock count should always be correct and you don't have to investigate issues with balances between the pack sizes, prior to being able to sign a script out. Additionally, if you have a broken pack of one pack size, you don't need to break another pack unnecessarily so that the stock count for that pack size is correct.
