Connecting StrongER to the PPA Portal allows for easy claiming of Opioid Dependence Treatment (ODT) Community Pharmacy Program remuneration.
- Login to the PPA Portal using the account for which you wish to generate the API Key
- In the banner menu at the top of the screen, select the name/profile icon
- A drop-down list of options is displayed. Click on the Profile option
- The Manage your account screen displays. Your User ID is visible in the first greyed out field. Click on the Generate Key button displayed below.
- Your API Key will be generated and displayed in the field
Please note: this key will not be viewable in the Portal once you have clicked the Save button. Please ensure you copy down the API Key and keep it for future reference. You will not be able to see the API Key once it has been saved - Click on the Save button
- The Confirm User Profile Update pop-up will then display. If you forgot to copy and save your API Key in Step 6, click on the Go back, I need to copy my key! button. The pop-up will close and return you to the screen so that the API Key can be copied and saved. Please note you can generate and save a new API Key as required.
- Once you are ready, click on the Proceed button to confirm the API Key
- In StrongER navigate to the Claims page on the sidebar
- Click Connect to PPA / Update Linked Pharmacy
- Enter in the User ID and User Key from the PPA Portal, select the pharmacy. Note: If you have not saved the User Key in the PPA portal the list of pharmacies to select will not populate and you will not be able to proceed with the next step
- Enter in your credentials and select Submit. For any additional pharmacists who would need to be able to submit online claims through StrongER, they will need to follow steps 9 to 11 listed above
- You are now set up to do PPA claims through StrongER
The User Key generated in the PPA portal have a "Valid to" date, you will need to repeat this process when that date has past or if you regenerate the PPA User Key.
