How do I file a PPA claim for a staged supply patient?

The claims page shows all claimable patients as per the 7 CPA requirements. This information can then be used to make a claim manually via the Pharmacy Programs Administrator (PPA) claims portal.

  1. Click on the Claims page on the left sidebar and select the Staged Supply tab
  2. Use the Filter to select the relevant month if required
  3. All Staged Supply Patients that are eligible for claiming will be displayed with a Claim Amount ($) value

  4. Click the Info button to display the Claim Information
  5. The claim information for the PPA Portal is displayed

  6. Click on the fields to copy the required information and then paste it into the PPA Portal
    1. Once you have completed the claim in the PPA Portal, click Mark as claimed

    The Patients Claimed section in the top-right of the screen displays how many patients have been claimed for the relevant month (displayed out of 15 - as per 7CPA). For more information: Staged Supply Program Rules 

    Please be aware that you are only able to submit one claim per patient, as per the Staged Supply Program Rules (to a maximum of fifteen patients). Claims need to be submitted manually, as the PPA does not support automated claiming for Staged Supply claims.
