The Settings tab - General

Managers and Admin staff may need to set the Stocktake frequency. This is done by clicking on the General tab under 'Settings'. This will open the Basic Configurations window.

You may set the Stocktake frequency separately for S8 and non-S8 medications to cater for your facilities internal policies.

1. Click on General
2. Click on Basic Configurations

Stocktake frequency for S8s

• Set the Stocktake Frequency for s8s
• Simply click into the field and type the Stocktake frequency (Or you may use the up/down arrows)
• Then click the Save button
• After the frequency has been set, click Close

Stocktake frequency for non-S8s

• Again, click into the field and type the numeric Stocktake frequency
• You may use the arrows to adjust the time frequency up or down. Also note that the frequency can be altered by using the dropdown arrow
• For non-S8s you may select from Hours, Days, Weeks or Months
• Then click the Save button
• After the frequency has been set, click the Close button

When you set the frequency for Stocktake, this will determine how frequently Stocktake alerts will fire. For example, here the Stocktake frequency is set to 8 hours (3 times during each 24 hour period).

If Stocktake has not been conducted, an alert will fire 2 hours after the frequency you set. In this example an alert will fire at 10 hours to remind you to conduct Stocktake.

When you move to the Stocktake tab, the Status of the Stocktake will reflect the Stocktake frequency you configured in the Setting tab. And you will be prompted to complete Stocktake if the status is set to Stocktake Now.
