# Nurse Initiated Medications (NIMs)

## NIMs

The next tab is NIM, Nurse Initiated Medications.

Nurse Initiated Medications display. You may select the **Update Residents’s NIM Chart List**  to remove or update the database for your facility.

- Click on a medication to add this to the resident’s NIM Chart

- Expand the order to review the details of the presc

Medication Selections have been added to the global dription and if approved for use, click on **Select Chart**.

- Then click **Save List.** The new NIM will now display.

- To remove all charts from this resident click the red button ‘**Remove all Charts from Resident’**
