# How do I use the Dispense button located on the Resident's Chart?

## Prescribers and Nursing staff may check the status of medication dispensed from Pharmacy by using the Dispense button

 

The Dispense/d buttons are located on the Resident's Medication chart.

**Dispensing Details**

Click on the blue **Dispense**  button - This shows the status of the prescriptions - it has not **yet been** been dispensed by pharmacy

**Dispensed Details**

Click on the green **Dispensed** button - This shows the status and details of the medication **dispensed** by Pharmacy, including Packed or Non-Packed, Administration options and Pharmacy Notes.
